After the excitement of the FA Cup Final and the Champions League Final, I feel that I'm not alone in being footballed out at the end of a long hard season. All that extra time, all those penalties, all those crisps... it takes its toll.

But it's not over yet. England have two friendlies over the next week. We're playing the USA in Chicago on Saturday 28th May and Colombia in New York on Tuesday 31st May. It's utterly pointless of course but Sven has to pretend that it's a valuable opportunity to give fringe players (i.e no hopers) a chance to impress. Come on down, Peter Crouch!
